WILLIAMSBURG, OHIO: State officials say a man was rescued two days after a crash in Ohio when transportation workers removing a deer from the side of a road saw a foot sticking out of a window of car that had rolled over in a wooded area.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports the state Department of Transportation says 38-year-old Kory Chambers flipped his vehicle on a curve along state Route 133 on Saturday night in Williamsburg. The car struck a tree and rolled.
State officials say two transportation workers found Chambers on Monday morning and called 911.
Ohio State Highway Patrol Lt. Wayne Price says tall weeds concealed the car. He says Chambers was airlifted to a hospital and remains in stable condition.
An investigation is ongoing. A cause hasn’t been determined.
