SHARON TWP.: A two-vehicle accident in Medina County sent at least three people to multiple hospitals by helicopter Wednesday evening, Medina police said.
The accident happened around 4:25 p.m. at Boneta and Fixler roads.
Both roads were closed near the accident.
Area fire and police departments responded to the accident, including fire departments from Granger, Bath and Copley townships, reported @NEO_Scan , a Twitter account that tracks police and fire updates from the Northeast Ohio area.
One of the vehicles was a pickup truck. It’s not known how many people were in the vehicle.
The helicopters transported the victims to Cleveland Clinic’s Medina Hospital and Summa Akron City Hospital.
The Twitter account reported one of the victims is a 17-year-old male.
No further information was available Wednesday night.
