Get some pooch-made artwork
Kids love to make art from their handprints — why not fur-kids? Rubber City Prints holds “Dog Days of Summer,” giving pet owners a chance to stamp their dog’s pawprint (using safe, non-toxic ink, of course) and create a work of art around it for $25. There will also be a photo booth, raffle and pet art. It runs from noon to 4 p.m. in the Summit Artspace parking lot, 140 E. Market St., Akron. www.rubbercityprints.com.
