Say bye-bye to the Bard

It’s your last chance to catch Shakespeare at Stan Hywet this summer: Ohio Shakespeare Festival’s Macbeth closes with an 8 p.m. show. Gates open for picnic dinners at 6, and the entertaining greenshow begins at 7:30. $28 for open seating, $33 for reserved seating, students $15. www.ohioshakespearefestival.com.

Party at the park for the parks

The Cuyahoga Valley National Park will mark the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service with a party from noon to 5 p.m. in Howe Meadow. It will include music, a wide variety of family activities, and food from the Conservancy Canteen. The Singing Angels will sing the NPS Centennial Children’s Celebration Song and Dala and Mississippi Heat will also perform. See www.conservancyforcvnp.org/celebrate100 for a schedule.

Gervasi Vineyard hosts Ballet in the Vineyard from 2 to 3 p.m. with the Stabrova Youth Ballet Company, the pre-professional company associated with the Ohio Conservatory of Ballet.
