The Summit County Sheriff’s office is looking for a prisoner who escaped from Glenwood Jail on Friday in Akron.
Jason Shockley, 26, of Akron, was still on the loose as of Tuesday morning.
Shockley and another prisoner each posed as a trusty Friday afternoon and carried trays out to a van in the jail parking lot. When they got to the van, they ran away toward Howard Street.
One prisoner, Daniel Perkins, 24, of Akron, was found and arrested and charged with escape.
Shockley is a white male with close-cropped hair and distinctively styled eyebrows. He was sent to Glenwood Jail after being charged with breaking and entering, safe cracking and grand theft, according to court records.
